Muskogee, Oklahoma, is a charming city nestled on the banks of the Arkansas River that offers a variety of historic sites, family-friendly fun, and fun activities.

Visit the Muskogee War Memorial Park to board the WWII submarine USS Batfish and explore the fascinating museum; see a show at the historic Roxy Theater; or go for a hike on one of Honor Heights Park’s many hiking trails.

Start exploring local Native American history at the Five Civilized Tribes Museum and meet some of Oklahoma’s local bands at the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in the city center.

I recommend calling the places to visit and restaurants ahead of time to confirm the current hours of operation.
