The St. Paul’s Episcopal Church happens to be the oldest church in Walnut Creek. Built-in 1887. It became very popular in the 19th century.

Mt. Diablo is unique in its own way. A stroll around this park is amazing. It won’t be a bad idea at all.

23. Catch Views From The Top Of Mt. Diablo At Mt. Diablo State Park
You can get there by hiking. But for those who don’t enjoy hiking, no fear you can get there by car or bike. You can as well hike to the summit and camp there as well.
The gates are closed by sunset. So please avoid being locked inside. At 2900 feet above sea level, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge. Views can be hazy during the summer though.
24. Visit Rock City Park
The park has small tunnels and caves, naturally carved out of sandstone rocks, like Elephant Rock, Sentinel Rock, Wind Caves, Artist Point, and Fossil Ridge.
You can have a picnic here, and also camp at Live Oak campground.
25. Walnut Creek at Civic Park
The Civic Park has 2 playgrounds, a gazebo, a library, public art, gardens, and a community center with art programs.
The few gardens seen there inhabit about 130 species of California native plants and more than 25 species of butterflies since 1999.

26. Heather Farm
The garden has up to 27 attractions including different gardens, groves, and displays.
Attractions like the famous African sumac trees, a bonsai Japanese black pine, Mexican sunflowers, and eleven waterfalls are what you should expect to see there.

The Old Borges Ranch is a cattle ranch built in 1899 by Frank Borges and his family.
The ranch cares for chickens, goats, pigs, and sheep as well as cows.
But the Old Borges Ranch is more than a ranch; it’s got the Borges house, barns, corrals, a blacksmith shop, a ranger station, and more.
This historic ranch is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
